Since Allwinner Technology CO., Ltd. Doesn’t offer PC Suite software for their customers, downloading and installing the USB drivers given here is the only way to connect your Allwinner smartphone or tablet to a PC or laptop computer. Compared to AllWinner A31, A31s supports 2160p video decoding, which is pretty good already (A31 supports 4kx2k), 1280×800 resolution for screens (A31 supports retina display), and 1080p HDMI output. A31 camera sensor can support between 5 to 8 MP, but A31 can support lower resolution (0.3M) for front camera, to a maximum of 5MP. Hello, first I would like to say its been great to see this thread and how you all have overcome the issues with the v972. I have read the entire thread, even though my v972, which I am scheduled to receive today, will have firmware 3.2.1, and most of the problems in the first 100 pages don't apply to me. It is great to see this community in action. I have only begun to own android devices in the last year, and have never rooted or modded one, so am a total noob and appreciate your understanding. I have a question about stock ROM vs mods. I am wondering how much difference there will be between running the tablet with stock ROM 3.2.1, rooted, nova launcher, uninstalled Chinese apps, and maybe modifying prop.build slightly (if necessary, there is nothing i am really dying to do right now, but who knows). Between running the tablet like that, and the mods like kasty or cyanogen. How significantly does performance/battery improve (to the feel of use, not benchmarks)? How much more unstable does the machine become (especially with CM 10.2 4.3.1)? I am not doing anything hardcore with this tab, mostly surfing and reading PDFs, maybe watching some video with MXplayer. You could say I'm a basic user, so not sure if i need a mod. Any comment is helpful, thank you. I am running Win8.1 x64, can anyone confirm that the instructions at ht tp://w ww.slatedroid.com/topic/53170-correct-installation-phoenixsuit-usb-drivers-in-win-8/ are all that is needed to use phoenixsuite? Thank you for your help! Ht tp://lifehacker.com/5965889/how-to-run-windows-xp-for-free-in-windows-8 Christian Troy talks about how Win8 users should use an XP machine to flash ROMs via Phoenixsuit. Since I don't have machines anymore that are not Win8, I did some digging and wanted to share this link above. It allows one to use an XP VHD (virtual hard drive) via VirtualBox by Oracle, by extracting the proper file from an executable archive distributed by Microsoft. It will authenticate your machine via GenuineCheck and if you have a valid Win8 liscence, you can download it. No XP license needed. I haven't installed it and used it myself, I received my v972 yesterday evening, and am still priming the battery with a long charge (24 hrs or maybe 36 in this case). I might start working on it tomorrow, I have the day off. From comments in above link: 'AWESOME. It does work. After you rename the file, open VirtualBox. Create a new virtual machine, give it a name, allocate some RAM, and when it asks to create a virtual hard drive, select the option 'use an existing virtual hard drive file'. Point it to the VHD file you made, and you're good to go!' Hope this helps! I installed TWRP on my Onda v972 v2 over factory fw 3.2.1, rooted, and when it rebooted and the menus came up, my touch screen wasn't working. Every time I reboot, it boots into TWRP and I can't get out of it. 1.Mount the ISO file with Daemon Tools, Power ISO, NERO, or any image software. • Run the installer (.exe). • After you finished installation, just copy the crack files available in crack folder to your installation files. • Run the patch • Enjoy! Download 3d lut creator completo crack 2. In case there is a bug, in the SYSTRAN 7 folder you will find a file with a multitude of, a crack and a patch update. A couple notes: i did enable developer options>debugging mode before I did all this, but I can't seem to follow the tutorial here: ht tp://w ww.arctablet.com/blog/featured/phoenixsuit-flashing-tutorial-onda-v972-v812-allwinner-a31-tablets/ to flash a ROM with Phoenixsuit. I am running win8.1 with Phoenixsuit installed on an XP Virtualbox, and I follow the instructions (holding home, plugging in, short pressing power repeatedly, all w home held down) and i hear a USB connect sound without any boot to TWRP, but Phoenixsuit doesn't recognize it. Virtualbox recognized my other USB devices, so I don't think that's the problem, but not sure.
